Need advice on where to go next (near the end of the game)

Hi,

I have every form except the last one (I have forms one through seven), two memories, most of the treasures and pets and recipes, but I can't figure out where to go next / how to get the final form. There's a huge tongue in the Abyss which I don't know how to get through, I suspect that's what I need to do next, any hints?

Sounds like you either need to check around the Veil, or the bottom left of the Abyss.

The bottom left of the abyss was the whale? I finished that part, got the pearl, moved it up to the spot, and got the memory there.

In the Veil, I got Li and the Sun form and that spiky armor. I'll check there again.

If you have Li, then you need to inspect the bottom left ... of the western side of the Abyss.

I found an ice area there, an ice cave and an ice veil, but didn't find anything there of interest, it seemed empty. I'll search around it again.

That's the east, I think.

If you hear a deep and booming voice with a menacing message, you're in the right area.

If you've already heard that, go back to where you did.

It's a pain in the ass area; go all the way through the Ice Caves until you come to dry land, then go to the left side of the area and jump up those crystals.

Oh, that area has a barrier and says 'where did I see this symbol before?'. I don't know where I saw that symbol before and I can't think of what song to play there. Any hints on that?

Okay, now I found a room with a ghost kid, and a bunch of puzzles to get him to the end of the room (which I did), and now he's at the end sitting down and there's like 6 symbols arranged oddly. I tried playing them in various orders but can't figure this out. Hints for this?

There's another ghost that you already met that will sing the song.

HINT: Make sure you listen to the whole thing.
