I could do Spanish. However, we still have the problem of additional characters being required. For Spanish, in particular, we'd need the following symbols: á é í ó ú ü ñ ¿ ¡
I could do this too. I'm a native English speaker and tested at native/near-native Spanish (learned via intense study and immersion), and have a ~300 college hours studying grammar, spelling, and vocabulary as it relates to translation/interpretation. Those characters with diacritic marks are absolutely essential though, for a Spanish translation. I know that for example in German you can use extra vowels to get away from the umlaut, and the esset (ß) was actually banned for official communications, but that's not the case in Spanish.
Having two people on a translation is always better than one.
I also am a native English speaker and I lived in Mexico for two years, developing almost native Spanish ability. I'm slightly rusty now, but I would still be an effective translator.
Unfortunately, until internationalization support is built into Aquaria, it's all just idle talk.
You know, with the existing characters it would be possible to do Pig Latin, haX0r, Swedish Chef, even Klingon... not that I'm volunteering for it.
