Weird Graphical Bug

Heya.

I just downloaded the demo today on the recommendation of jayisgames.com, and while I could get it to work fine, there seems to be a bug with the graphics that renders it unplayable:

That's what appears to be the main menu, with the title half-visible at the top.

It'll show the initial splash screen fine, as with subtitles and the Mysterious Face at the very start, but everything other than that is dark, near-invisible and unplayable.

Running this on Vista (yeah, I know) Home, 1.60 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64, if that's any help.

What kind of video card do you have?

Do you have the latest drivers for it?

ATI Radeon X1200, judging from Belarc.

Just updated the drivers, and there's no change.

Try running the game in 800x600 or 1024x768, the higher resolutions have graphical errors and inexcplicably low frame rates on my geforce 8800gts.

Tried Omega drivers as per this thread?  It's worth trying.  Back when I had an ATI card, they solved several issues for me.  Give it a shot if you're so inclined, a lot of people really swear by them.

It seems like we're having problems with some GeForce cards for some reason. I haven't been able to figure out why yet.
