Does the full version support widescreen resolutions?

Both have the same stuff. We're going to work on proper widescreen support, but for now the game is 4:3.
BTW if you change the res in init.cfg you can set widescreen resolutions, but they'll stretch to fill.

Ok, thanks. It looks to be a great game.
I'll be back and definitely purchase the full game when it runs in 1920 x 1080 natively.

Definitely put getting 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions into this game on your priority lists.. as I'm sure I am not the only person that will buy this game once that is in there. Part of the awesomeness of Aquaria is the beautiful 2d graphics. Nice LCD's make 2d look magnificent.
Once proper 1650x1080 resolution and scaling is in the game, I will be pickin' it up!

In the meantime, how about a 4:3 aspect ratio with borders to keep it from stretching on widescreen monitors?
For example: Selecting 1280x720 gives you the game centered on the screen in its original 4:3 aspect, but with black bars on the sides (or some artwork). The Xbox 360 (and PSP) port of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night do this.

Anyway, I already purchased it and I'm enjoying it in windowed mode.

For those with widescreen monitors I'd recommending setting your preferred resolution in init.cfg (first two numbers) before you even play the game. You won't even really notice that it's stretching the game to fill the screen because it will be the only way you've experienced the game. Well... that's the way it's been working for me anyways, but I'm not a very nit-picky person when it comes to those types of things.
