Demo end?
« on: December 08, 2007, 06:49:10 am »
So, I think I've finished the demo.... but I'm not sure. Is there a definitive end to the demo or does it get to a point where you just cant go any more places? I feel like I'm missing something. Thanks.

There is a specific spot right after you get into "open waters" where the demo ends.  I was pleasently surprised - the demo took me nearly 2 hours to finish!

The one thing I was confused about was after you killed the boss where you lead him into the laser beam thing, I didn't seem to get any other powers.  It said that the rage was simmering beneath me....but I couldn't do anything new.  Was that a limitation of the demo?  It seemed like there were barriers I should have been able to break through but nothing...

Yeah, I've beat both the (sea lion?) boss and the mollusk boss.... but now I'm kinda lost... I think I've explored everywhere, but I can't quite figure out where to go. I've found at least two places to put those crystals you can charge up.... but havent found said crystals...

I'm gonna keep looking around, but any hints could be helpful as well.

there is an empty orb socket towards the upper-right of the area just outside of your home, and the white orb you need is in a little cove just below that socket.

Did anyone else manage to use any new powers you get after killing that last boss?  I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if it's just a demo limitation.

I did it by charging my power shot, got close and pulled away as he came after me to attack and fired my power shot right as he attacked so it hit his head.

Spoilers about Sea Lion BossAs to the questions of receiving extra power after defeating the sea lion boss, I don't think you do.  When Naija says it's "simmering within her", I believe she's referring to the destructive powers which she's already gained.  She just realizes after the flashback that they're the same powers used for destruction in the past.

There are no limitations in the demo. That won't make sense, because you can keep your savegames for the full version.
Plus what sirsteveman said.

Errr...

I was asking myself the same question.

I've beaten the Sea Lion and Natilus Prime, I've checked everywhere (I even found an armor and a plant bulb for Naija's home) but I can't find the end of the demo.  :o

Well, anyway the game is just...  indescriptible  ^-^
I just wait for my new computer to download the full version.
I just can't waaaaaaiiiiit! >:D
I should think about something stupid to put in there...

Wow, what a demo!!!!
That's the best demo iv tried in years!!!
Okey it's a little slow to getting started but all in all i think I used 2 hours of play to complete it! Thats preaty good for a demo, after you get the powers to shoot the games gameplay increase alot.
Nice to see that there are game makers out there that can make games were you get the feeling you are trying something new, something speciel, something you relly enjoy and don't sit with the feeling it just another damn game like all the others!

Grantz to the makers, very Very nice done.
