Sound not working in Linux - OSS Drivers
« on: May 31, 2010, 01:11:24 am »
Hey Guys,

The Open Sound drivers are back and no longer deprecated.  Does Aquaria support OSS drivers?  I get no sound at all, like it's looking for Alsa or something.

Let me know if you need any info about my system.

Thanks,
Zach

Aquaria uses OpenAL which supports OSS. Make sure /etc/openal/alsoft.conf has "drivers" set to "oss" only. If it still doesn't work, try moving the "libopenal.so.1" file out of the Aquaria directory so that it uses your system's library instead.
