Zork the great underground empire. One of the oldest adventures with text only. It has the greatest graphics of all times: your own imagination.
Try it: download: http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/
more info on how to play it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zork
No point in posting screenshots because is text only.

I just finished Knytt, and man was it great.

Way too short for my tastes, though.  Like, just when I got awesome with the controls it was over. :(

I need long, long games.  Too bad so few indie games even go above the 20-hour mark.

Looking forward to Knytt stories.

Find it annoying how people hate on Knytt 'cause it doesn't have tons of enemies. There are plenty of other games crammed with enemies if that's what you want. Why can't people do things that are slightly different?

OH WELL.

Knytt is one of the most atmospheric games i've ever played. Good to hear that it's getting a sequel/spin-off.

Btw, Alec, is it intentional that your sig reads "Would you LOOK at that?" and at the same time, the man in your avatar looks in the sig's direction? :D

Argh, I can't wait for Knytt Stories.  I think it's worse that the release date is set... make the anticipation that much stronger.

I love how the items in Stories will actually do stuff...

Worse still, you've proven conclusively that time doesn't progress :(

For everyone who's interested, and you should be, Return to Zork has become abandonware. You can download it at www.abandonia.com

Anyone who doesn't like Zork is...well...weird.
