You should've gotten a new form after rescuing Li; while in that form, roll to swap to the Naija half of it.
If you've killed 3 enemies in the Li half of the form, Naija will be able to "scream", killing everything on screen.

Yeah, use the shots from your new form to kill 3 enemies, then hold roll until you switch to a pink form. Then attack with that form to scream. This scream is the only thing that can destroy the big internal organs that block your way.
