I don't like using beast form on wall-critters, I somehow never get them in one bite and they always hurt me after that, seeing I cling to the wall, Beast is only good for open waters for me.

I dash the wall next to them, then play ping pong back and forth across them. But like you I tend to end up getting hurt when I try, and it just ends up easier blasting them with energy form. :) (Except the pearl spitters in Mithalas which die with one bite and are handy ammo dumps, as it were)

I get hurt from time to time but most of the time I don't and any damage is easily repaired any way.

How to use energy form: just click non stop on the right mouse button. You don't need to know anything else.

Right mouse button clicking will get one cramps, you better use Ctrl, Control

I was amazed at how much easier it was to spam using control on my second run-through.  :)

Yeah, I don't know why, but I felt like I was 'cheating' when I used the keyboard. Besides, I guess having to sing the songs does add a bit to the atmosphere although there have been times when I've been in the midst of a battle, frantically waving my mouse around trying to change form when something (usually a nautilus, hate those) hits me in the back and kills me, but no worries.  :) And I've been spamming with the mouse through most of the game and no cramps yet! (although i'm using a laptop)

You play with a touchpad, and didn't use control?  :o How very macho of you.  ;)

;D Lol yeah, I'm pretty much used to using a laptop. It's not so hard, you just have to use the buttons instead of the double-tap, makes it a whole lot easier.

I disable touchpads in the BIOS. Whoever thought of putting a touch-activated surface that generates mouse click events right next to the space where your thumbs are supposed to rest when at 'home' position was an idiot. I'm always 'clicking' outside of the window I'm typing in. Stupid touchpads.

I assume you're referring to the double-tap, or your hands are really large, cause I can't reach all the way down to touch the buttons. Maybe it's my computer. Anyway, I think using double-tap is a pretty stupid idea when you have the buttons, most people wh0 complain about laptops because of the double-tap don't even think of using the buttons.

Actually no. All I have to do is tap this pad once and it counts as a click (it's an older Dell, maybe the new ones don't do that). It also has a double-tap-drag function that's equally annoying if I were to actually try to use it as a mouse instead of a place to hold my M&Ms. ;)

Yeah, the new ones don't do that. I don't consider my computer to be particularly new, but I guess it's recent enough. I mostly use the touch pad since I place the laptop where the name suggests I would; on my lap  :)

Aah. I've never been comfortable typing like that, and I can't use a proper wheel mouse without a desk anyway. :)

Mine does a normal click with one tap, and a click and drag with two. My Death Adder mouse is so much better, though.  :)
