Big Spoilers: Final Boss 3rd Form

So to cut to the point, is there any trick or way to handle the 3rd form (bug in dark maze) of the creator without the Dumbo Octopus AND without the sun form?  Reason being for this is if this were possible, in theory I'm pretty sure using 1.0 it would be possible to speed run skipping all of Mithalas AND the Veil (Path being: Home Waters, Energy Temple, Open Waters, Kelp Forest, Fish Form, Nature Form, Abyss [in the dark. Like I said this is purely theoretical], Body) making for a potentially crazy time.  This would obviously be very glitch dependant (Body entrance, probably cooking) but given the ruling at Speed Demos Archive would be acceptable to the community there.  Creator 3rd is the only real problem standing in the way of that. So, any tips?

If you mean the lobster like version of him then there is no way that you can defeat him without light as that is his weakness.

No. If you use the tentacle glitch you can get by into the body without ever going to the sunken city and once youre into the body, Li will magically appear in his bubble

Ah, and then he comes with you as if nothing strange happened? Nice.

Perhaps I remember wrong, but isn't that form weak to getting shot in the eye rather than to sun form?

You have to flash his eye with Sun Form before it become susceptible to attack.

You definitely need the sun form for the 5th stage of the final boss, but I'm pretty sure you don't need it for the 3rd stage guys.  I've blindly hit him a couple times as he charges with pincers open just spamming energy shots.

Anyway it's moot because, as said, you definitely need it for the 5th (final) stage of the boss.

You can at least trim Mithalas out of your speed run. As far as I can tell Beast isn't required for anything, you don't need it to get Sun form.

Beast form is required for the Golem boss.

You don't have to do the golem if you're glitching your way into The Body do you?

In a normal game though you're right. I'd forgotten that.

You could have skipped the Golem boss (and therefore beast form) in v. 1.0.0, but the Tongue glitch has been fixed. It's now impossible to glitch past the door.

Any way a speed run cuting out some of the areas is a false result, it's like cutting out half the course in a marathon, if you did it how could you compare your result to someone who faced all of the areas and the important bosses.

I agree, but apparently it's within the guidelines set down by the website See.Blue is looking at. I'm just trying to help out of academic interest.
