Friend did not download it in time.
« on: December 05, 2008, 02:43:06 pm »
Hey everyone!

I recently (last week) bought this game for a friend of mine (purchased with my card, the link sent to her eMail account) for Christmas and - as it was (Thanksgiving) the holidays she waited 4 days before attempting to download the game.  It appears that that was not fast enough and the link is now dead (will not let her download it).  Is there anyway I can have the problem resolved?  I have the receipt, and she still has any other information that may be required (she has already eMailed support but it has been three days now without an answer).  Thanks so much in advance!

- Galvin.

Did you email Alec himself? If you did, you can expect a wait of about three days to a week and a half. Alec is probably being bombarded with mail due to the Mac release, and he'll get to you soon. Just resend the product code and he'll refresh it.

Oh I hope that he can sort it out a bit sooner than that, after all your relationship is on the line here I guess? :o Though it would of been better if she could of found the time to download it sooner :(

Ha ha ha - my relationship isn't on the line here - she's just a friend (my ex in fact).  It's a Christmas present - the game has wonderful music, a great story, and looks very pretty (and fun to boot).  It may be too tough for her - but I think she'll like it all the same anyway (she likes challenges, but sometimes can get a bit frustrated).  I'll let her know to contact Alec himself and possibly wait a little while for a response back.  Hopefully she'll download it faster this time! On that note I'm off to find Alec's eMail so she can ask him directly.  Thanks so much for the responses. :)

That's good, especially the part about you both staying good friends :D
