Cinematic after beating the Golem boss, and The little boy *spoilers*

So, I've beaten the game, and I know the little kid was basically god.  What I'd like to know is what was the deal with his parents?  After I had beaten the Golem boss, the ghosts of the boy's parents rise up, and the screen fades, seeming to imply a cinematic coming next.  However, on my playthrough, after I beat the golem, Li gets immdediately kidnapped afterwards by the tentacle of doom.  I reloaded and beat the golem again, and the same thing happened.  What was the story with his parents (were they abusive) and what happened in the cinematic?

As far as I know, the parents just serve as glimpses of the Creator's childhood, as do the stone-throwing bullies in an earlier cave that become winged monstrosities. Alec and Derek probably have more of a backstory.

I hope that you didn't think that the game ended there with Li kidnaped sygg, because there is a lot more after that? And yes the images of his parents are just his memories of them that haubt him.

So, there was no cinematic?  The lack of transition was incredibly abrupt.  Beat golem, he falls down, father's ghost comes out, Naija starts saying something... ABDUCTION!!!

And yeah, I've really beaten the game.  Credits and bonus ending all.

Well it is more complex thn just memories really.. what's happened is that he has used his memories to create other races, and it's mostly the memories of his mother that he's used but as with all Frankenstein creations the children never live up to those memories or ideals

It's not original Chibi, that anology is used a lot where a parent is forcing a child to fit into their ideal when it's impossible to do so. Very often this child leaves home and never sees their parents again/ hates them that much that they try out all sorts of revenge including patricide or matricide etc. I studied sphycology for a week or two and read up on the subject a lot and only packed up the course because I couldn't spare the 4 days a week at collage having a young son to look after.

And now I supose you will all be a little wary of saying things  please don't because  I don't know enough to judge people.

What happened was that I was expected to excell at everything and work at home in my parents shop after school finished, but I wanted to go to art college, but in the end neither happened so I worked in factories instead. It was not the kind of work I would of chosen but it was challenge enough to my father and it gave me some sense of the freedom we all need.

That never would have occurred to me. It irks me when people think they've gained great insight into the human mind or can read others after taking an intro psychology elective, let alone sampled it for a few weeks.

Same here Dave, I've had enough of people thinking that they are experts after a short time training. Take art for instance, I have been painting for years and I am far from being an expert at it 

Spelling rotfl! You might notice that mine is worse some nights more than others, and besides there are a lot of words that I don't know how to spell, but I do know how to spell psychology I just wasn't taking notice of what I was typing, I'm not a touch typist either

But feel free to correct me because I prefer a correction to feeling a fool days later
