PLEASE HELP an old guy get through Mithalas Cathedral

I'm stuck in the bowels of the Cathedral .  I can't kill those frog looking creatures that have green stink around them and they are blocking my exit! I've shot them for over 15 minutes at one point from every conceivable angle.

I've killed 2 of those round ugly laser bosses but now have nowhere to go . . . .

Please help!!

Look at your map and see if there are any places you haven't been: if everything is white, look for suspicious straight dead ends - in my experience, those are doors to another section of the map. About those frog creatures ... they should be easily taken down in thirty seconds, if not, something is wrong. Good luck, and sorry I couldn't help you more (it's been a long time).

The frogmen giving off poison can't be killed, but they're no threat, either.  You can't attack them, but one of your other songs works just fine.

To be more blunt: (highlight to read) Just use bind, it pulls them around just like a rock or anything else.

? I kill them, you are talking about the swollen ones that swim around aren't you? I know that when I kill them they explode with a quite satisfying sound

Oh and like Chibi said, check your large map for grey areas,  and just avoid the frogmen if you can't kill them on your version of the game.

Plus, you have to kill all four laser bosses. Before that, the path to the bowels of the cathedral won't open.

Hey guys - thanks for the help.  I had to use the bind song thing to move them out of the way - thanks PiSketch.

It's weird i couldn't kill them, as I saw some guy on YouTube destroy them no prob. - perhaps it's because I'm on the mac version.

I've killed all the round laser things and now am spending time with the big dragon at the end.

I'm sure I'll be asking for help on it soon.

I get the invincibility clang when I shoot them.  The same noise snails make with their shells on.

Edit: Oh, i see!  They're only immune to energy form! ( Nature) form spikes work just fine. 

And yeah, no problem Yogi.  Have fun with the rest of the game!

Oh I see: It's probably an "improvement" made to version 1.1.0. (As well as removing the infinite food glitch    ) Glad to see the problem resolved. Feel free to ask incessant questions: that's our part-time job.

I wonder if I am using the wrong wheapon to try and kill those metal fish then?
I thought that those were the frog things and in my version I can kill them with energy bolts, and also aren't there three of those laser bosses not four have I forgotten one?

I distinctly remember being able to kill those things.  One reason it took so long for me to figure out Mithala, didn't realize exactly what those thingies were, I just kept a-sploding them.

Haha, for me it was having the frog-man killed over and over again by the blue spheres then having to go through the process of getting a new bloated merman.

I did it once accidently..not sure how. I didn't know how to move them around though (I suspected fish form for a while since you can push them ever so slightly with it, but only to a point after which they don't move).

Very difficult boss fight that was..

I can say with certainty that the bloated mermen became invincible to energy form shots in version 1.1.0. So people playing on Macs can't kill them with energy form shots, while people on PCs can.
