I prefer purchasing games on a physical medium, but that hasn't prevented me from purchasing games digitally on Steam or PSN. Along with its availability on Steam, I noticed that Aquaria can also be purchased on CD now too through Aquaria's site. Steam has it's awesome features, such as achievements and automatic updates, but I enjoy the physical disk, packaging and such. While I know it's far fetched, but I'm curious if the CD game will be Steam compatible, similar to Valve's retail releases Left 4 Dead and the Half-Life 2 games. In other words, I would like to have my cake (a lie or not) and eat it too.
Would purchasing the CD be more beneficial to Bit Blot than Steam? Or is that secret insider info?
Thanks.
Edit: I also apologize if this has been asked before, I've looked around and haven't been able to find any other inquiry into the compatability of the CD game and Steam
