Stuck - dont know where to go!

Hello everyone. First i must say that this game is really amazing, every second of it is a complete beatuy.
Now, for my problem, well, i got energy, beast, nature and spirit form and i dont know where to go.
Ive quite explored everywhere and i cant go to the abyss because its dark.
Where shall i swim next then?

Sounds like you need something to light the place up: What you want to do is head to a place North East of Open Waters, you may need Spirit Form to get there thought

If you start going north a lot and reach a place called The Veil you're in the right direction :p There's plenty of things to be done there

I believe you meant he may need Beast form.  Since I did almost the entire game without even aquiring Spirit form.

Well, i went to the veal and im pretty sure i went everywhere i can there - to the sun temple too and i just cant continue - the only place to go in the sun temple is blocked by darkness :/
any more hints ?

Did you notice some gears just sitting there in the Sun Temple? Well... what do gears normally do? I'm pretty sure they don't just sit there....

There's a way within the Temple to light the darkness, it'll involve raising and lowering the water level

Once you've figured that out, you'll need to find a blue crystal, just above the water suface, somewhere in the new areas you can access after raising the water

What you have to do now is figure out a way to brighten it up (IE. Move it to somewhere with Sunlight within the Temple) and take it with you

WOW, is THAT wat I was doing with that thing?  I just dragged it as far as I could until I could pick it up...haha...didn't notice the sunlight thing...

before I read these walkthough I don't konw about this,I even swin though the darkness by remember minimap first,hold left-down and then left-up , u will soon see the light.
