At the Singing Octopus. Need help.

So I'm supposed to mess with the lamps but I can't quite tell what symbols to be using...
I know I can light them up but if I don't know which goes first because I physically can't differentiate from the two shades of blue that the octopus puts up and whether he's using green or pink then I think I legitimately would like some help

Don't the tones help? They correspond to the different colours..

a little and I think I have the symbols he adds but I cant tell is the last lamp above the Mithalan pod pink or blue

I think I just died a little inside by your sextuple(6) post.

Either way, you're supposed to drag the pearl all the way back and through the hot steam up into a small cavern where you'll find a memory.
The memory should just play fyi.
