aquaria doesn't support tablets?
« on: February 27, 2010, 01:25:10 am »
when i use my tablet to play, the cursor kind of just sticks of the outside until i swap to my normal mouse.  :'(
uhh is there anyway to fix this? (although the right clicking would be really annoying with a tablet)

btw this is an awesome game  ;)

Huh. This is pretty interesting :P

In the end, though, the game really wouldn't flow with a tablet I think, and you'll just end up using a normal mouse. So you might as well start now. :)

But since you posted this I assume you don't think like I do, so I just don't understand what do you mean by "kind of sticks of the outside"?

Yeah, tablets have to be run in "mouse" mode, there's been isues with this before and I've use my own tablet to play this game too.

You need to go to your tablet settings (how I have no clue, diferent for every tablet) and somewhere change from tablet to mouse mode.

The 'technical' stuff behind this is that the tablet immediately PINPOINTS the cursor, while a mouse moves the cursor, this game does not work with pinpointing, to keep it simple.
God sees and knows everything, but at least he won't gossip about it.

This is a little off-topic, but in mouse mode did it ever happen to you that, for some reason, it lost sync? It sounds like it can :P

Lost sync? Why would a mouse lose sync?
If you use your tablet in mouse mode it just acts like any other mouse, but you move with a pen over a tablet.
