Hey Alec, read this please! (Regarding OST)

First than all: Thanks a lot for creating Aquaria and such a Beautiful Soundtrack.

My Story:

I'm from Venezuela (south american country), and we have a currency hold. We can only use 2500$ in credit card, and 400$ thru Internet (that's only for a year... then, the next year you must sign some papers so they can activate the dollars again... oh, and BTW, they'll activate 'em ONLY if you are going to travel abroad).

I just wanted to say, that I've made everything under my possibilities to buy the soundtrack of this game, but it was worthless. I'm currently @ USA visiting some relatives, and since January 1 I can't use my Credit Card 'till I get to Venezuela and sign the papers  ???

Googling around, I found a place where you can download the Aquaria OST from a file-hosting server. I downloaded it, and it's simply amazing.

But I felt sorry at the same time, so I erased it... and just wanted to tell you, that I'll pay for the digital album download A.S.A.P I arrive Venezuela and sign those papers. I'd love to have the physical CDs with the booklet and all that stuff, but the mail system in my country is a pain in the ass ): So I'll stick to the digital download.

You don't have to believe me... but then, why would I do this? I really felt sorry, because as a Musician (I play Bass, compose songs, play in a band) I know how horrible it is when the piracy kills the music.

Thanks a lot for reading this humble post, and thanks a lot again for this great game and for your music!

Sincerely
Nathan.

BTW: Is there a way to buy the OST using debit?

Hi Nathan,

I'm Chrissy, Alec's personal secretary and keeper of the OSTs, and I can answer your questions  ;D

You can go to paypal.com and use your chequing account at your bank to create a new Paypal account. You will be able to transfer money from your bank account to your Paypal account, money which you can then use for purchases through any one of our stores (since you're talking about the digital download, this would be our Bandcamp store). This is the same as paying for the OST using debit, and does not require any sort of credit card. :)
