cannot save
« on: February 15, 2009, 06:54:01 pm »
greets,

I've just installed and tried Aquaria, im using windows XP
i rightclick the red crystal, it says "GAME SAVED".
When i reenter the game no savegame shows up though.

i have a data.000 and a data.001 in my aquaria folder.
i have no save folder
i tried creating a save folder and moved the data.001 in there, but no savegame showed up afterwards

what am i doing wrong?

It's supposed to prompt you to choose a save file before it saves... But perhaps you just left that bit out?

i left that bit out. I doubleclick on the first save slot, then it tells me that the game is saved, which is a lie as far as im concerned =p

i also tried searching my computer for .aqs files, since it seems that this is what the save files end with, judging from another thread here. no file found

There's a handy little edit feature underneath the post: definitely easier and more coherent than writing three different chapters of a single post.  ;)

If it's not to embarrassing for you, can you tell how you solved it? Chances are not that small that a case like that will appear in the future again. ;)

I think he might have Vista and installed it into his program files or something like that, or maybe a virus scanner.

And yes, we do want to know. =p
