those glow in the dark things in the abyss, they were probably mentioned by name in this thread, but I've seen them eat fish proper.  the rest of them attack each other when you are not sharing the screen with them, they are a bit shy 

Yep, they are called predatory turnicates.

Yeah those Predatory Turnicates eat everything in sight.  I found myself realizing that Li was gone, then having to go back and rescue him time and time again.

If you don't like killing fish, there's also a treasure in Mithalas that will give you an infinite supply of fish meat in Naija's Home. You'll still have to kill 'em for oil, though. Plus when you get the Beast form you'll be killing a lot of them, trust me.
