Cannot change registration / menu name [Solved] impossible

My mom bought me the game for my birthday, but as she is new to the registration process, my name is now Yasmina M.  ???
I read something on the forums about Alec emailing a new registration: any way I could do it?

What does it matter?  You type in your name and registration code and the game is activated.  Is it really that much of a bother to see that name in the corner?

In my case, it does for me, it bothers me that I have to use my legal name for purchase and see it upon every load when I absolutely can't stand the name. I've gone by a different alias since I was 13, that's 18 years ago. And since I haven't changed it legally, originally for purposes not to insult my mothers choice of names for me, but then later because I'm in the military and it would just be way to difficult to legally change.

This seems more of an issue with the purchase method though and not so much with bit-blot, unfortunately. I've just had to deal with it unfortunately since I figured there just wouldn't be any resolve for the situation. *shrug*

Do tell DM, you can't leave us hanging like that, I want to know your real name  now >:D I gave my son the option of two names and his first isn't too bad, well not in the UK any way, of course you Americans would go and use it as a girls name ::)

Shiloh, but I go by the name Sean. Irish spelling. I'm half Irish, Half German, and 100% American. Unfortunately my parents went through the Hippy Era and just had to give me a unique biblical name. I've seen both guys and girls with the exact same spelling of the name, so it's not extremely unique, but nevertheless it's just not me.

As much as it sparked conversation it didn't get any resolve for you Chibi. I doubt there's anything we can do about it. Maybe if Alec goes out of his way for us, but I've never brought it up until you mentioned something. :D

Yeah, he seems to be pretty busy with everything else going on. I'm sure he's spending a lot of time working with the Infinite Ammo team project.

I hope we don't get left on the back burner with all these questions. I know he's the only one to answer for most of our questions, but I'm sure he'll get around to them eventually. There are lots of questions for him still to answer here on the forums, so I'm sure as he finds time he'll get to them. Of course, I can't speak for him. That's just my positive outlook.

I don't think there's much I can do to help you. If you request a different name when buying the game that can work, but I'm not aware of a method to change the existing key that has been registered on a machine.

And yeah, if I wasn't here you'd have nobody for tech support. I'm doing my best. :)
