The best fits for a game of this type would obviously begin with a DS port. If anyone here has played Zelda: Phantom Hourglass they will know that direct control of a character is entirely awesome using just the stylus.
Also, to everyone poo-pooing the PS3, please have a look at some of the seriously wonderful titles available on the PSN and listen to what some of the developers have to say about Sony's support for such endeavours. There certainly seems to be a lot fewer constraints on size and user-generated content than on the Microsoft side. They have also proven to be extremely enthusiastic supporters of creative freedom.
Microsoft's size-limit on XBLA titles puts many devs off, especially if they don't have the backing of a Capcom or Konami to get them to relax the rules in extreme cases (like Castlevania: SOTN and Bionic Commando: Rearmed). Their aversion to letting the modding community have access to anything XBL related also gives many pause, especially in light of how good Sony has been with UT3 modding and the coming ugc-fest that will be Little Big Planet.
The WiiWare service certainly looks like a step in the right direction for Nintendo, but the lack of a hard drive on the Wii and the fact that the service is untested in the wild are unknowns that give one pause but that will hopefully both be elucidated as the service grows.
That said, Aquaria is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Please keep up the tremendous work!!
