Abyss jellyboss

GAWD I'm asking for way too much help in this forum already.

I recently noticed that the only actual interesting dead end was a boss section. Going there constantly, I found that he was as hard and annoyingly overpowered as hell. I was okay with the idea of him having three lasers pop out of his eyes, but the fact that he also had the ability to spawn hundreds of jellyfish to psh me around long enough to kill me was the real problem. If I turned my attention away to the jellyfish, I would never get anywhere. Turning to the jellyboss, however, got me even faster nowhere 'cause the jellies were attacking and pushing me quick enough to kill me without me even getting a pot shot at his eye.

PLEASE tell me I'm doing something wrong and that maybe there's a much simpler solution to this whole thing! Otherwise, PLEASE tell me that he was just a sentient invincible being, a god of of extremelyhardbossiness.

Not really a god of extremelyhardbossiness at all.  Just use your keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch between energy and beast forms (number keys 2 and 3) and eat up all the tiny jellies.  Before he spawns more, fling a few energy shots into his weak spot (you'll notice you can only hit his inner eye where the outer shell is missing).  Energy form food helps.  As does anything that gives you beast form shot.  Spicy Soup for instance.

This...game...ROCKS!

you can also herd all the spawn in a sticky corral with spider roll, then eat them en mass in beast form  >:D
Ellie: Are they from the future too?
Sawyer: You told her?

Another strategy is to stay in beast mode and let your pets attack, it's a way to survive, but it takes boringly long.
God sees and knows everything, but at least he won't gossip about it.

I find that speed bonuses are helpful anytime you see those sort of big ugly 'dodge me' lasers. Hot Soup is sufficient.

You can dodge them at normal speed as well, but if you're beset by jellies that you haven't had a chance to snack on yet and those lasers pop out a little extra speed goes a long way.
