Turn up singing?
« on: February 24, 2008, 12:16:46 am »
Hello all.  First I'd like to say that I just played through most of the demo and it is great!  Everything..wow, very impressed.  No need to finish the demo (nice long one!) I'm just going to buy it.
Anyway, on to my question.  Is there a way to adjust her singing voice?  Or is it something to do with my pc?  Sometimes I hear it ok, but most of the time it is either very faint or there is no noise at all.  Is this what it is supposed to be like?  Thanks.

I think it is a problem of yours, I haven't heard of it before. Do you have the newest drivers + enough capacitiy to run the game (maybe it's only lag?)

Well, I guess it's good that it's not meant to be like that.  Now how to fix it.  It's not lag, the game runs super smooth and I have a pretty powerful PC.  Maybe it's my soundcard.  Anyone running it with the Soundblaster X-fi XtremeGamer PCI(The one that comes with the front panel)?
Or possibly a conflict with any of the following?
Logitech G15 keyboard and G5 mouse with their software running in the background.
NOD32 antivirus.

Thanks for any help...

Ok, I figured it out.  My speakers have a button on it called "Matrix" that I must have accidentally turned on because I've never used it before.  I think it's supposed to simulate 5.1 sound from a 2.1 source or something, but I guess what it really does is just filter out sounds completely!

Sound card drivers are awesome.  ::)
