Skate.

Does anyone here play Skate.? I never thought I'd buy a skateboard game but after playing the Xbox 360 demo I was hooked. You can literally skate around for hours and find loads of different spots to do tricks. I was also wondering if those of you who have the game want to share some of your uploaded videos or pictures? I'll gladly rate them.

Check out mine:

I try to do things on the humourous side. :P

I've heard a lot about this, but still haven't played it! Absurd! It sounds like it'd be a welcome change from the increasingly-ridiculous Tony Hawk's series; I really loved the first few (I forget the last one I really got into; all I remember is that it was on the PS2 and that my old housemate was better at it than pretty much everyone on the planet) but lost interest when they started piling in extra gimmickry (bullet time? What the hell?).

I think that's the beauty of Skate. Because of the analog "flick-trick" controls every trick you pull off feels like you've actually done something and it takes skill to pull off impressive lines. Tony Hawk games got old quickly with the button mashing and the overall ridiculousness of the tricks. I urge anyone who has a 360 or PS3 to definitely check out the Skate. demo.
