Hint for Abyss please

Hello, I'm kind of stuck. I explored all over the Abyss and didn't find any way to progress. I killed a couple mid-bosses and got some cool treasures and played with seahorses but I can't seem to go anywhere else now. Most of the paths are blocked by steam, and one needs a pearl orb (which I can't find). So, a little help please?

Where you in Mithalas already? If not, go there now. If you WERE there already, explore it some more. A way to get past hot steams is hidden there, but you need two forms to get there.

The one behind the pearl orb is optional anyway.  Getting the pearl involves learning a song that doesn't show up on your character sheet, written on a tablet somewhere.

head up and go east in Mithalas city,at the end you'll find an entrance
many house in Mithalas city has a way in

There's an area in Mithalas where you get the form needed to pass through the steam.

You might have seen a blocked door in the southwest portion of The Abyss. You'll need a friend from beyond the veil to open it.

Make a mental note of the pearl statue location. That's actually fairly important, although somewhat optional.
