whenever i open up the menue thing, it always opens up a page to hold pets. Just how exactly do i get a pet?
Where do i find their eggs?

There are 4 pets, you can find them at various points in the game. The first one is located south-west of the first Open Waters area. Might require the Bind Song to get.
