Forgive the silly topic, but man does that giant turtle not look well. I require some assistance please. I have almost gotten everything on my own, but i'm just puzzled as to what secret the giant turtle holds. I know there has to be something i'm missing. If someone could just give me a hint I would appreciate it. 

So you know my status, I already took care of the whale quest and and have gotten everything except a few pieces of treasure and one pet.

I refuse to believe that a big creature such as that turtle that has its own marker on the map is just there for looks. I know there has to be something. Thanks for the quick reply.

Somtimes, when no one's looking... I like to snipe them out of the trees, just to hear them make the monkey noise.

Giant Snail doesn't seem to have any real purpose either. Tried everything I could to make it come out and do something.

Are you sure the turtle has no purpose? I was backtracking today trying to find the recipies i was missing and i bound one of the smaller rocks that are blocking off the baby turtle egg and the turtle went inside the hole or whatever o_o And i didnt know where he went

Yes, the turtle flee from the side opposite to the rock you bring near.  I managed to make it flee down, but I guess there is a way to make it go out of its hole instead of back in.  Maybe with a +2 speed I can control its direction... Maybe I will also try to give it food.

edit: if this turtle have purpose, it have nothing to do with the rock.  I managed to get it out of its hole, and all I got was a half-turtle standing in the middle of the area.
