Hey all, newcomer to the forums and Aquaria.  I've gotten maybe 70-80% complete over the past few days playing and it's a great game (as i'm sure you're aware)

I found a few threads naming http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Aquaria as the main unofficial wiki...

I've been nosing around over there and the latest talk items are over a year old.  I took the liberty of adding some missing effects entries to the recipes table. 

Is this actually the main wiki?  it's kinda lacking. 

From my experience on the Bethesda Softworks forums, having a well fleshed-out wiki is great for replying to common questions.  you can just quick find the wiki page and dump the link into the thread and you don't have to bother repeating the same thing that was said a just a few threads earlier.

So, is it worthwhile for veteran players to start getting all those infos filled in?  I'm totally up for trying to get a nice, all-encompassing system going there.  Maybe a bestiary, high detail maps, all those kinds of goodies.  thoughts?

It is very nice to see someone has that much interests in Aquaria again, the Indie Humble pack have brought quite some people to this place, though I'm not sure if it's enough.
If more people are interested in this I will surely help to build up the wiki.

Another newcomer from the HIB group. I'd be willing to try updating a few items on the Wiki myself. Unfortunately, while I've got a decent feel for the game now, I'm totally new to the Wiki-editing thing, and wouldn't want to step on toes. Is there a sort of etiquette for making changes and adding info?

Also, just let me say this is an AMAZING game, and has found its way into my VERY short list of favorite games of all time (alongside games like Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, and a couple Final Fantasies).

(And I know there's no plans in the works for Aquaria 2 yet, but let me say I'd love to see it made, and pledge to order/pre-order should the project ever get underway.

I've been working on a lengthy game (probably similar length to Aquaria) for a while now, it's called Marian. Personally, I feel that it's like a spiritual successor to Aquaria. You can find more info on it at my website.

In terms of wiki editing rules, I think you can just add whatever you want. :) If you're not randomly deleting things or inserting false info, it's all good.

Was looking at the teaser for Marian (which is very pretty, by the way), and I'll be sure to continue following the development of it. No more missing indie gems like I somehow did with this game the first time around.

Edit: Okay, I've fixed a few errors I'd stumbled across while playing (a couple recipes and some treasure locations). I'm thinking I could get started on a bestiary, but I'd need to know where to find that info in the first place. I don't even know the NAMES of the enemies. And while I could go snapping screenshots, some sprites would be nice if they already exist somewhere.

You can always pop open Aquaria's GFX folder and go snooping around.  ^-^

I love having to get new wiki accounts for every new game I play. xD

I'm from the Humble Bundle as well and I hope to help on the wiki once I finish the game. ^.^

I hope Marian still runs on my computer like Aquaria does--I'm loving Aquaria and I look forward to more games. :3

Ooh, so I can. That's useful. I'd been snooping around the animation folder before, but couldn't make heads or tails of it.
