Sunken City Door

when I sing the song to open the (last?) door in sunken city, nothing happens. A symbol that looks like a 7 comes up and everything, but the door won't budge. Here's a screenshot:

is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I went all the way up to the door and still nothing happens, I can't get the ghost kids to do anything, so I don't know what to do.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone else get a buzz when loading a save game that only goes away once you dash?

I have ver. 1.1.3, OSX 10.6.3

Can you elaborate on which order you're singing the notes in? You may just be singing it wrong....

I'm playing the notes like the woman sang them. would the symbol come up if the sequence was wrong? well actually it might, but it would still have accepted it, seeing how the symbol is there.

What I'm asking is for you to list out the sequence you sang them in. This puzzle actually stumps a lot of people because they play the notes in the wrong sequence.

As for the symbol that comes up, I have no idea (been a while since I've played the game).

I think you still have to do something with the ghost kid? Did you move the girl around with Nature Form flowers yet?

Yeah, the ghost kid is not there yet, first get him to move there. You need to save him from the darkness, then get his gf to him and finally save him from the bullies, then you sing the mothers song to get past there.
