Fully Enthralled
« on: December 08, 2007, 05:38:17 am »
After 10 minutes of playing, I realized if I didn't come to the forums now to say "Thank You," I wouldn't get the chance again today.  For all of the anticipation and excitement I felt leading up to the release, I was not prepared for actually playing Aquaria.  I know I have but glimpsed at what awaits, but I am completely captivated by the experience of swimming.  The sound and music, along with the striking visuals pulls me in even further.

Thank you for all your hard work and effort to bring this to us.  Now, to go get lost in the magic of exploration and discovery!

Here's to that!  Thank you Alec and Derek for such a wonderful game.  I haven't played something this fully immersing in years.  I know you both are floating around these forums right now answering all of our questions and I hope you take at least a few minutes to sit back and read how much we appreciate it, and of course count your well earned money ;).
Bless this mess.

I  just got a 10 minute taste of the game too, and wow, Congratulations, Derek and Alec!  Amazing game, really just amazing!

I love how the fishies follow me around, really makes use of the environment.  And the movement controls, very nice.
Something that did bug me though was the part where Naija sings, the sound effects for those were rather meh~

But anyways, as I've said, Congratulations! ^^

*edit*
Has anyone been able to beat the level where Naija transforms in the beginning?  I'm giving it my third go :p
Also, concerning where Naija transforms, it doesn't allow you to press "esc".  Meaning I can't change game options. tch tch tch ^^
