I was watching the trailer on the main page and noticed a few interesting details. I won't spoil it outright, but if you're curious check the trailer again and look closely at the last scene and you should see what I'm talking about...

NOTE: From this point on I'll be discussing possible spoilers and little details found in the trailer!! If you're interested grab a seat and discuss, if not then you should probably head back now...

Ok then,

So we have barbed wire fence and a bed, down in Aquaria... Also Naija has human skin tone and no visible mermaid-ish fin things... Could Naija's people originally be humans who were forced to evolve through magic? Maybe they were changed into mer-people? There's a lot of speculation and ideas. About this. Also, my version of the final trailer is buggy, so I'll have to redownload it again and check those faint symbols at the start, and other details like the lizard statue.

EDIT: In the top right corner as the Bit-Blot logo fades to white is the image of a dragon. Why, I have no idea.

(Taking this far too seriously...)

Well...not necessarily evolved FROM humans, but that's getting a little technical. Who knows? But I do wonder if there's something to that theory, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the bed. "This must be Earth's future."

But then I started to wonder... what if this is just a sunken building or a sunken ship? That would make sense. I don't think that they would give away such a crucial spoiler in the final teaser trailer...

Would they?

Well I wouldn't expect an answer from Alec or Derek since the game is about finding out Naija's (did I spell it right?) past.

In Ferazel's Wand, you were a Habnabit and there wasn't much detail on your races past. I don't know what Naija's species is but I'm sure there will be info on it's past. :)

It can't be a sunken ship because Naija appears human and there's a metal fence in the background. It's these two clues that leave me to believe that Naija probably is human, or some human derivative, and that the location of Aquaria is built upon a previous human civilization.
