OH! I remember the one thing I forgot!

* Controls: flawless. I use a combination of mouse and keyboard to play... I also use the EVDEV driver for both, and Aquaria Linux uses them perfectly... I can bash as many keys, and click as many buttons as I want and it works just as well as I should expect.

Thanks! :D

BTW: The only reason I know about Aquaria is because of Linux Gamers... http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2234

I noticed that since the beta was released there haven't been any new articles on Linux sites (that I browse) about it!!! This should be huge news to the entire Linux community... although, obviously this release is beta, so it's definitely understandable if the PR is awaiting play test results. I've put a bit of time into it and so far have not found anything outside of what I've seen in the Windows version: flawlessness. :P

Hello,

didn't find where to report bugs, so posting there :)
had a problem with overlapping music. When fighting mithral boss and loosing after
last save auto load  music stayed the same, then after winning fight music is still
playing and overlapping the speech (almoust imposible to hear).

Overall wonderfull game :)
i just hope it is possible to use openbeta save files in final version.

P.S. Happy new year !!! :)

Late, but: Happy New Year, too!

Just has the question every linux users will have sooner or later:
- Ryan, have you got an ETA, even roughly, about Aquaria (first ;P ) Linux release?

Thanks for reading and good luck for your next projects.

EDIT: Can I already buy a copy and use the key for the linux beta releases?

I installed on Mandriva linux 2010.0. Installation wors very fine, but i wos not able to run this game and i think the reason was not installed acceleration driver for NVidia GF9600GT. Now i have problem with this update system and will reinstall it, maybe then i try to install GF9600GT driver and the game will work fine. In past i have installed this driver with no problems i try out many of games.

I have one qustion: "I have bought this game on steam - will i able to download lunux client for this great game and play full version ??"

Sorry for my english

We generally don't transfer licenses in any direction.. the reason being that there are so many different parties involved. (Bit-Blot handles Windows, Valve handles Steam, Ambrosia handles Mac)

In terms of release, I think Ryan's going to do one more beta. So no set date yet, but we're getting there. :)

Beta3 worked fine on Mandiva Linux 2010 64bit, Intel Core 2 Duo, GF9600GT, 4GB Ram, newest drivers - graphics a little bit slower on linux as on WinXP. I have update problems with Mandriva i future i will try OpenSUSE.
