Support for Windows 7

Game appears to run increddibly slow under windows 7.
Is there a patch or workaround?

I would download all the recent drivers available for your system and check your Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del) for memory-draining processes while Aquaria is running. How much memory does Aquaria use? Alec will probably be more helpful, but this is a start.

[EDIT]: Yep, he was. ^^

My guess is that either you have to update your video card drivers, or a video driver with proper OpenGL hasn't been introduced for your video card for Windows 7 yet.

When Vista came out, OpenGL-based games ran pretty slow until eventually card manufacturers figured out how to write proper drivers for it.

It may be worth checking with your video card manufacturer to see if there is an updated drivers for Windows 7, or if there are known issues with OpenGL-based games and 7.

Hi,

Thank you for the quick replies, I updated the graphics driver, and the game works fine under Windows 7 now!

I didn't realise it uses OpenGL, and since all my other games that work fine use DirectX, I incorrectly concluded it had to be the game.

Sorry for making such a fuss over this, thanks again!
