Graphic board problem

Hi!
Old graphics board having bailed out, I have installed an ATI Radeon HD 3650. Works fine, EXCEPT when trying to start Aquaria. Instead, the config menu appears, and no matter what I choose, the game resuses to start. The screen goes black for a second, and then the config pops up again.
Any suggestions?
