Walker baby passage

I've been poring over Monruoy's maps and just need six treasures now. I have searched and searched but I can't find the passage to the Walker baby down almost directly under the kelp forest tortoise (a couple of levels down); bumped the ground over and over in fish form and other forms and there doesn't seem to be one. Am I looking in the wrong place? Is there more than one tortoise in the kelp forest or is there a secret trick to get in there? It's making me a little crazy. Gave up on Simon Says and the Jelly mini-boss until I get a new mouse. Any secrets or hints greatly appreciated as always. Love this game!

The passage to the Walker baby is under the rock-like enemy that blends in with the walls and pops out when you're near, kill that and swim slowly past the walls near it.

Oh, I didn't realize you could kill those mossy guys. I'll go do it right now. Maybe I can interact with something that won't kill me over and over so handily as the Jelly Mini-boss, the Bubble Cave crabby thing, and the Octopus mini-boss.....Thanks, Alphasoldier!

Well, that was refreshing! After getting killed regularly by three tough mini-bosses, the walker baby experience was lovely and serene, thanks to Mother Nature... Again, thank you, Alphsoldier... he looks so cute at home  in the little plant refuge, close to the black pearl and the fairy-like gently bobbing clam. What an amazing game...
