Mithala Stategies [Spoilers]
« on: November 25, 2008, 01:40:24 am »
I recently defeated Mithala, and it took alot of strategising for me, so i wanted to see other peoples stategies,
Mine:

First Mode:
Easy to dodge bullets, form dosent matter at this point, lure him forward, then when he summons, lure the summon into the gas by going behind or below it, if you are in Najia Form, transform to energy, and spam mithala back a few steps, transform into Najia, and bind the bloated summon forward, then release, get fairly close to mithala at his point, but far away from his head, keep spamming him so he dosent move forward, eventually, he should create a whirlpool in his mouth, swim away as fast as possible, until he eats the bloated summon, after he eats the bloated summon, if he dosent transform into  2nd mode, repeat.
2nd mode: Larger and faster bullets, watch out for these, but repeat the process of step one, and dont let him eat you.

3rd Mode (Satan Mode): This is where it gets hard, giant bullets at an impossible rate, stay close to the top of the area, when he begins to fire bullets, move downward as slow as you can while still dodging the bullets, you shold be spamming his head this whole time, when you finish him, let out a sigh of relief, youre done.

Post your stategy for this or other bosses.

Funny story: The first time i killed mithala, i died at the same time i killed him, so i saw the cutscene, but i died immedietly afterward.

That's pretty much the accepted strategy.  But if you mash the shield song shortcut key (9 I think) then you can just sit there in his "satan form" as normal Naija and just wait it out.

Funny story: The first time i killed mithala, i died at the same time i killed him, so i saw the cutscene, but i died immedietly afterward.

That takes incredible timing. What makes it hilarious (at least to a maturity challenged adolescent  ;) ) is that Mithala acts kindly to Naija right before she dies at his hands. There should be a mechanism against that. Alec?  ;)

I cling to the ceiling once I've released the bloated frog for Mythalus to swallow, and like Glamador I keep on hitting the shield shortcut key.

Tapping the shield key takes incredible timing?  Not really, just keep hitting the button.  And what do you mean  "acts kindly to Naija".  And why is that a bad thing?  This game has very complex issues.

Glamador, you misread my post: I was referring to the "funny story" in ChimeraThing's post. (See edit) I have enough knowledge of the game to know that the shield does not require timing
