problem with the whale song

i know theres another post with the whale song. i tried what is written but nothing happens is this a bug . please tell me what happens ...... if you know ( i hope you do)

First of all, you'll need to provide some specifics.  What notes are you playing, written where?, and where are you singing it?  What SHOULD happen will be extremely noticable.  If you do it in the right place.

im in the cave where there are the notes of the song i play it there but nothing happens

Well, it IS the whale song, try playing it near a Whale.

And before you ask "But where's there a whale?" or similar...we're not gonna answer.  It shows up MUCH later.

i know where the whale is i just thought i had to play it in th cave i found it anyway thnx for the information and the help

The same happens to me. That is: I know the song -I've written it from that litle secret fish to go cave- but when I sing it to the whale she/he/it does nothing. I've read same question anywhere by other unansweared people but -unless it's a question of sheer luck- no one is responding. May be you have to be aside its ear, (WTF) that happens to be inexistent.
Hope someone would notice!

Thank you, I'll try it. Though for what I see the problem -and it happens to many people- is that I have seen actually just four notes not five, the purported -and I guess it's right- first note doesn't show off very well or it's kind of hidden.  May be that as the cave is small and dim if you are at the wrong place you may cover it or miss it easily.

Hmm...hadn't heard that one before.  Although I suppose the problem could be solved by not making the song itself actually in the dark...but of course that would eliminate the need for sun form...but that wouldn't matter either because you need Sun Form to get to the whale...so yea...

Question, were you IN the small cave with the fish form or were you just lighting it up from outside of the small cave? If so, it's obvious you missed a note.
But then again, it's also obvious that you can pretty much enter there. The only unaccesable area I know in Aquaria is that small spot near the beginning of the game where it says to use the scrol button too look around.
But further, I saw the song just fine.

I did it all well. And I get back to the cave. Actually, what may happen is that the cave is small, and if you transform from fish to sun character at the wrong spot, you cover the first note, that by the way it's a little lower, not in the same line as the others. May be the solution would had been to put the symbols above the whale drawing, so it's in a better display.
As the symbols are made to look that they are ingraved in the rock -not marked all black  as in the Arnassi ruins race song- it's easer to miss the first one if you happens to be too close.
