Concept Art, pretty please?
« on: February 16, 2008, 10:33:31 pm »
I did it! Finally took care of the final boss! Had to use some all Arcane Poltice, but meh  :)
Anyways, I've seen the ending, not the "bonus" one, wanted to see the endings one at a time.
When the credits roll, you see some concept art by Derek. Great stuff. Could you possibly show some of the artwork to the fans? Pwetty please?
Also: Who is Drask and Geral? ???

A little art book wouldn't be a bad idea for a boxed version of Aquaria, I would pay for the game again if that came with the package.

The Drask and Geral characters were probably an idea that was scrapped somewhere along the deleopment of the game, but thats just what I think.

Though the eleventh face in the hall before the final boss' chamber kind of resembles the Geral.

I believe that Drask is the Prince of Mithalas, Prince Drask.

And Geral might be a prince or king or something else, maybe the Krotites? Or maybe Drask's brother, I don't know.
God sees and knows everything, but at least he won't gossip about it.

...Or maybe Geral wasn't even in the game.  :-\
Too bad Alec and Derek won't give us any sketches, let alone answer me; If they have plans of anything art bookish.
I'm not complaining though! It's far from easy, seeing as there are only two of them.

Hah, maybe Geral wasn't in the Game, but I bet he is in the Aquaria storyline, or there wouldn't be any sketches of him.

I'm sure they have concept art laying around though.  After all there's a bunch in the end credits.  It's been suggested that they include an art book with the Collector's Edition of the game.  But who knows when that's coming.

This...game...ROCKS!

Yeah, and I don't think Derek and/or Alec will object to posting most of the concept art on the Bit-Blot.com

I'd be happy to put up some of the artwork to show you guys... and I probably will very soon!  I'd love to hear what you guys have to say.
