yep, fully up to date.  Just uninstalled everything, reinstalled the demo.  That works fine still.  Uninstalled that, installed full version, which falls flat on its face again...

Cheers for that.

OK, tried to run as administrator, and tried reinstalling Aquaria outside "Program Files".  No joy, still getting the same crash.  Checked the debug again, this time there were no errors relating to scripts, but some of the textures are still not being found.

Will keep on persevering nevertheless...

G'day all,

Loved playing the demo of this game so signed straight up for the full version.  After some fluffing around trying to get the download (took 24 hours before it arrived in my inbox) I got it installed, but lo and behold, to my horror, it will not start.  The config launches and then goes onto the Bit-blot screen, but once Naija starts to fade in, I get the Vista "this program has stopped working" message.

I've tried the patches, to no avail, and I've looked at the debug log (which is *HUGE*).  There are several similar errors, all along the lines of "cannot open scripts/maps/premap_title.lua: No such file or directory" but with various filenames (premap_title, map_title, premap_songcave, map_songcave, etc) and several "Could not find texture" faults.

I've uninstalled everything, and reinstalled it, but I just get the same errors.

Please Help!!!
