Gameplay / Mithala (early-midgame spoilers)

So, after the scene that plays when you beat him who else felt bad about having to kill him?
After all he'd been forced through his only escape was death by your hands, every time I replay that bit I always wish there was a way to bring that clarity to him without taking his life. He's such a minor character in the story we're told but damn his addition to the tale tugs at my heart in such a beautiful tragedy.

While I feel bad for killing him finding his priests in as a later boss as making them pay for such a crime really spoke to my love of justice. I'm curious, did anyone else kill them all in beastform? I felt all the better doing so, getting killed by the final result of their evil deeds seemed a very fitting end.

I would also like to thank Alec and Derek for such a beautiful and emotional game, it's such a rare and powerful experience.

Gameplay / Re: Your Veil Moment

I see this thread has been necroed before but I just had to share mine, I hope you guys don't mind it.

So I reach the veil, notice the flat part of the map and decide I have to reach it believe it to be the water level,  I'm in beastform, my default from the moment I unlocked it.
I head for the save as I've reached a milestone being near the surface which leads to me breaching the surface, it slows down as the land below me starts taking up the screen, suddenly I'm fearing land may be an instant death due to the low health slow-mo I had seen many times before this point. Naija starts talking and the fear is replaced by a relaxed joy as the water becomes visible again. I take in all there is to see during this moment knowing my fears were of nothing. Sadly such a unique experience can't be recreated in new playthroughs as my fear for Naija's safety can't just come back when I reach this point again each time.

It's always a magical moment, but the first time is once in a life time.

Modding / Re: Adult Mod, 18+ only!

Not that I wish to be rude or anything but is there some chance of a more sfw version of this mod?

I downloaded it with the intention of using it for editing her sprites, while the mod works well enough for this I keep getting a paranoid feeling a family member could walk in and get the wrong idea.

If such a version does not exist and you have no intentions of creating one I won't bother you about it again. Either way I have enjoyed what this mod has allowed and thank you for making it.

Modding / Extended extended ending.

OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS AHEAD AS IMPLIED BY THE TITLE.

So like many I was left with a disappointed feeling after that ending, but I must thank the developers for it as it pushed me to consider modding.

For this mod I'll try to start it not long before the last bit with Naija, I hope I don't ruin her character too much with it as she's one of my favourite female video game protagonists, filling a void a certain bounty huntress left some time ago. Basically I plan to have Naija fight back before Mia wipes her mind and if possible add two endings, one where she kills Mia and thus has to spend the rest of her life dealing with the fact her own mother died by her hand and if it's at all possible I'll add a non-standard game over.

I apologise for the above as my writing ability is horrible and gets worse with larger amounts of text, I hope you all read this well enough.

As this is my first mod for anything I'll probably take quite some time before you see anything worth seeing. I hope I'll see it through and if I finish it I do hope you all enjoy it.
