Hint: Get 2 versions in 2 different folders, to get the max. out of both ;)

You're right, I'll do that. Thanks for the tips :)

Thanks False.Genesis . It does answer my questions but now another question arise: is it worth it to update to the latest version if the game runs well without it ???

It seems to give more troubles than it solves. For instance, I am very enthusiast with the mods idea. It would be so wrong to miss that function ^^

For now, I play with wine under Linux. It works well even if I get some superficial slowdowns when there's too much things on screen (but it mus be due to my integrated graphics). I'm planning to compile the linux bin in order to get the whole thing native.

Hope I will not miss some features !!

Support / Updating Aquaria

Hi, I recently bought Aquaria and was wondering: since I downloaded version 1.1.1 (the one we get when buying the windows version), how can I update auqaria?

I read there's a version 1.1.3 (and maybe 1.1.4): should I just download the latest build and copy/paste to my aquaria folder? Or are there other steps ?

And if I want to use Linux binaries that I compiled myself, Aquaria should be up to date, or ... ?

[ EDIT: If someone build the binaries from sources and use it with data from the open-beta, what will they be missing ? ]

Thanks false.genesis :D

I knew for the icculus repository, but I didn't understand how to download all the files, and not one by one ^^'

I'll try the binaries, in hope it works fine with me.

EDIT: ok, I read the thread you linked me, and everything is explained to compile a 64bits binary ! Thanks a lot :D

Hi, I just bought Aquaria for windows, and I must say I do not regret it! The game runs just perfectly under wine in 64 bits, and the overall experience is just pleasing. Two thumbs up for the voice over, I just love the english accent, excellent choice :D

I'm still wondering why the linux version was available with the Humble Bundle of 2010 and is not available anymore? You could just have added it to the buying page of your website ??

Anyway, great work for this very original game. That just show that some people still are inspired ;)
