It was, of course, in my spams. :)

You spammed your Humble Inde Bundle? o.o

Didn't got that mail. ;(
Not that I have a steam account... it's still not working with Linux.

I delete 40+ spamposts a day and I told Derek already about updating the forum software - hope he'll do it soon.

Well, since each of us (probably) got a different Steam key, it might take a while. They might be doing it manually, for all we know. :S

For some reason, when I saw the tongue eating one (again), I was suddenly reminded of the scene in Finding Nemo when one of the pelicans opens his mouth and Marlin and Dory are clinging onto his tongue and screaming.

I think Aquaria is about loss (of families, memories, etc) and coping with it. :3

Sing for longer. :3

I think you have to hold the note for a second or so before the bulb breaks. It's sort of like how people break glass in movies (and real life?). First there's that ringing and shaking and then it shatters a few moments later. :3

I don't think I can ever settle for last though. XD

Actually... now that I think of it, I usually pick the first if the saves are listed vertically, or one above the other, but I pick the middle if they're listed horizontally.

Usually the one in the middle. If there are an even number, I end up finding some other way to rationalize my decision. Like... second character on the character select screen, second spot. :P

Leaving save-file tweakery aside, I don't think you're screwed. Is there a way to go deeper from the little alcove you're stuck in? It might be easier to go forward than back.

(Also, it's possible to get through those tunnels in the dark. Very tricky, but possible.)

Yeah, it's possible, of course, but very hard. ;)

PS: Why did you use only one savefile? That's not a good idea in every game I ever played...

I personally only ever use one save file in games. More than one looks messy to me and I go crazy. :/

(And then for games that let me pick a slot to save in, I go crazy picking the "right" slot. >.>)

The game uses a visual editor and lua (for scripts).

I think lua should be easier to understand than C++.

The seed is an item you have to swim up to, just like the other treasures.

Hiii! ^^

No extra information you want to share? How you found Aquaria, how you found it, your hobbies, how you found the forum? ^^

You should've posted in the Introduce Yourself! thread though. ^^

Interesting how the form with the creepiest origin/use provides peace of mind, while the form representing two people joined in Love resonates destruction (which, provided more destruction isn't hurling your way as it so often is, provides peace of mind).

But everything offers destruction followed by peace of mind!

Basic Form: Destruction of braincells; peace of mind with shield.
Energy: Destruction through energy shots; peace of mind with no enemies.
Beast: Destruction of poor, innocent animals; peace of mind of getting their ammo.
Plant: Destruction with death pillar of plant; peace of mind of quick transportation.
Sun: Darkness; being able to see.
Fishy: Your size; being able to squeeze through stuff.
Spirit: Bullets, bullet-free-ness and a break in action.
Dual: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE; no enemies.
Li Song: Loneliness; company.
Shield: Vulnerability; protection.
The Verse: Being frustrated with not being able to play it; finally figuring it out.
Race Song: Boredom; a break from the action present in the rest of the game.
Whale Song: The abyss; nom nom nom.

See? ^^
