Convinced at least a couple people to pick it up. I always love it when games I like hit the impulse-buy range.

For extra fun, try to beat every boss while Rainbow Soup is up!

It's likely your piranha pet doing the eating, not you. For some reason, when fishy eats something, it acts like you ate it instead. Useful, though. Power up beast-form shots without being in beast form!

Trust me, I can sympathize. I have exactly one forum I've ever been active on, other than this one, and it's been a fixture in my life for the last... good lord, seven years now? At the start, I knew everyone and read every post, but now... I mostly pick-and-choose what I keep track of. I may be the excited newcomer here, but over there, I'm the old man on in the rocking chair on the front porch.

Either way, I hope the chattyness doesn't drive you into hiding, Alpha. I, for one, like having you long-timers around to talk to.

True. But he could be using a stock animation engine, maybe?

It was a very pretty movie that included a fascinating world that deserved to be properly examined, but got utterly ignored in favor of ham-handed preachyness. I wanted more about how the world itself was so very painfully obviously engineered by an advanced race. If any world ever had an argument for Intelligent Design, it's Pandora. I mean really... the entire planet is a biological supercomputer, and every race on it is a symbiote.

I do everything on a laptop. ._.
Really, just get a USB mouse and you should be fine. Aside from lacking a number pad, there's little a laptop can't do.

I think Alpha's got a bit of "old man on the porch get off my lawn you damn kids" syndrome that he's honestly repressing quite well. His quiet little forum has all of a sudden been invaded by a group of VERY talkative newcomers.

Well, not with a touch-pad anyway, but that goes for the entire game. It plays just fine if you have a nice little usb wireless mouse though. I played most of Aquaria on my laptop.

Blaster pet? I never used anything but the piranha. He just shredded things. Heck, once I got Li and fishy following me around, I hardly had to do anything.

I prefer Pandora myself.

... just don't get me started on the OTHER use of that name. *wanders off grumbling about blue indians*

Probably "optional" boss like the crab or the jellyfish. Ones you have to hunt for.

No, no, that's actually a far more thorough analysis of the situation than I'd done. I guess it's unique.
