Ah man, it has been a long time. That iPad announcement really is good news; I love the idea of more people being able to play a game which really is a piece of art, with a world so packed with creation. :D If it weren't for exams I would play though again and try to get all the treasures this time...

Loving the art from all of you. Especially looking forward to yours Vetehinen; your art is always so amazing! :D

Wahaha nice nice  ^-^
I love how some of the background looks really authentic with the brushed paint texture but some of it is really obviously computer-penned. xD

Well, I'm no musician but it looks fine to me based on other sheet music I've seen and played from so it's probably all good. :)

That does look cool. And that one link wasted me a good couple of hours as I delved further and further into pandora territory. Bah!

I like the Mac one. :3

The one on the bottom looks creepy. o.o

^this. Though the mac one is kinda...cutesy..

The windows one is the image from the in game menu screen (the statue like thing that looks like Naija).

Hey hey! Just listening to the example tracks I like what I hear. I also haven't played Aquaria in aaaages. With the break coming up sounds like a good time. :D Really awesome job on the composing. I really like your idea (modding the ingame music) too.  O0

That would be so totally awesome! Lol someone who knows what they're doing should revive the code and let us try it out (see how bad we fail at singing perfect notes haha) :D

Hmm. He is a pretty tough boss to beat unless you keep his little friends under control, yes. I find it's usually easiest to eat large groups of them in beast form to clear some space for hitting the king himself. Just let them build up a bit then focus on culling them until you think you have enough breathing room to get around. It might be helpful to eat some spider roll too so they get slowed down.
Hope that helps. :)

General / Re: Multiplayer possible?
« on: May 28, 2010, 12:52:15 pm »
As far as I know multiplayer on one computer would be possible (with one player controlling an entity via the key board etc) but no one has really tried it. Networked multiplayer seems out of the question without some editing to the code; which I suppose people could do if we had enough people willing and talented in that sort of thing. Especially now that the source code is being released.

Dolphin: I'm doing engineering. Software engineering is my planned speciality (specialisations start in second year for us (note that as I'm in the southern hemisphere I've had most of a semester of uni already)). So far the math and physics don't tend to be too bad but they're still boring. I chose to do Chinese (Mandarin) as a general education paper and its by far the most fun paper I'm doing . XD

I thought they said something like the source code would take a week or two?
