Gameplay / Re: Regarding eagle door *spoilers*

Thanks that spared me from a ton of wasted search effort. Although it wasnt really a bug preventing me from opening the door im still glad I did a search because id probably never have solved it. Since ive been using a gamepad for my entire gametime the solution felt similar to suddenly having to use the port-2 controller on your console to solve a puzzle.

And yes I just meant that the ending is unlocked. Only glitch ive managed is jumping out of the map boundaries on the veil areas, even if I knew how to glitch past the tentacle I probably wouldnt have saved after doing it.

I feel kind of bad making a topic about something I could easily find using a search, but searching would inevitably spoil the solution for me.  I would just like to know if Li is supposed to open the door or atleast give you some hint. Im starting to suspect it mightve bugged out since I got Li very late in the game (already had the alternate ending) and it seems illogical that he wouldnt even react when the door has the same symbol as his tent.

Also if the solution is some event triggered by being in a nonlogical area with Li in tow feel free to tell me. I did a fairly extensive mapsearch before getting Li so the prospect of going through seemingly pointless parts of it again isnt that tempting. Other than that particular case I would appreciate not having the solution spoiled.

Yeah I guess driver problems are to be expected when your using something that wasnt originally made for the PC. Ive considered getting some other pad but from my experience Nintendo hardware has unbeatable durability. Went through two PC gamepads, which got worn down very fast, before switching to the gamecube pad and since that ive had no issues on the hardware side of things.

Alot of people seem to like the Xbox controller but ive had very little gametime with it and microsoft hasnt exactly presented a good case for themselves when it comes to hardware durability.

Any way to do this? Ive got a gamecube controller hooked up using an adapter but up and down movements for aiming shots are reversed.

Had this problem with most games that makes use of the C stick so if anyone knows of a permanent solution help would be appreciated. Ive thus far tried checking for new drivers, using dxtweak and using normal windows calibration controls but ridiculously enough the only option I found thus far is to open up the pad and rewire it (which may not even be possible depending on how it looks inside).
