I'm in the exact same position (with the full version).  I've spent hours backtracking, wandering, using the look feature to ... look, and I'm so freaking confused.  I've seen some other posts from people in the same situation, but the answer is always "look more."  If someone could tell me/us specifically where to go, that'd actually be helpful.
