Gameplay / Re: Speed running final boss? (*Spoilers*)

Yeah, it's a little too time consuming. Once you get him to the point you can lure him he's basically just fodder for Energy form - unless I'm missing something, and he can be lured earlier. Annoyingly, he seems to be completely invulnerable while he's retreating through the windy tunnel.

Gameplay / Speed running final boss? (*Spoilers*)
« on: December 18, 2007, 06:57:51 pm »
Because I'm a masochist, I've been playing around with speed killing the final boss. Nothing particularly interesting to report, but I've had some (slightly unpredictable) luck killing his first form in about 5 seconds. Turns out that a well placed nature form thorn spike will rip his face up but good. Because the spikes basically ignore wraparound armour, I've also been looking at using them to deal with his shellfish form as well, but I can't find an effective way to do it.
Don't get me started on the second form experiment - that boy just won't sit still, although with a bit of luck I have tagged him with a ceiling mounted spike.
Anyway, has anyone come up with good ways to bring him down fast?

Having the same thing with the savegame screenshots. I'm using 1400x1050 windowed, all graphics options on. It's always a little square of floor.

Modding / Modding cooking interface mouse function
« on: December 11, 2007, 05:21:13 pm »
Being a total foreigner to LUA scripting, I can't make heads or tails of that part of the modding guide. What I'd like to know is whether or not there's a way to make the right mouse button useful in the cooking menu.
I want it so that when I right click an item on the food wheel it pops up in one of the cooking pots (ideally with a little indicative visual or audio tell). This would speed up production of items immensely.
Is this possible to do, or is this something that has to be hardcoded?

Thanks,
khamiel
