Gameplay / Don't laugh, but . . .

I cannot for the life of me beat the mollusk boss.  I can't even figure out if I'm doing anything to him.  My strategy so far is to swim around, avoid the little guys, and blast away with the Energy Form, but his shell seems to be impervious to attack.  Am I missing a trick?

For people with older machines who are on the fence, I have a fairly old system:

- Athlon XP 2600+ (1.92 GHz)
- 1 GB RAM
- ATI Radeon 9200 (128 MB) video card
- Windows XP SP2

and the demo didn't even so much as hiccup running at 1024x768 resolution full screen.  Everything was smooth as could be.  The only slowness I noticed was the load time when moving from one map area to another, but even then the music keeps playing the whole time, so it doesn't ruin the immersion.

And may I just throw in a quick bit of praise:  fabulous job guys!  Large game shops could learn a thing or a hundred from you .
