Im stuck on this boss too, not in a tactical way tho, more like the OMFGTHISISHARD way It's madness when you reach the near death stage.

Support / Spirit form saving = bad? *possible spoilers*

Hey guys, im really enjoying the game, but now it seems i have to start all over again. I saved in the bubble cave while i was in the spirit form, and then died at the crabby boss. When i reloaded, i was in spirit form, and naija looked like a lump of limbs right on top of the save crystal. At first, i thought this funny, but the smile soon faded when i realised i could not switch back to the normal form.

I thought that maybe i could restore good ol' naija by finding one of those spirit form crystals, and when i found one, it did not work. So here i am, stupid enough to have only one save, and trapped in spirit form. I guess it's a new start for me, which i really dont mind, since i can explore more now

I think my latest character had:

Traits: Kamikaze, Jinxed
Tagged: Throwing, Traps, Outdoorsman
Perks: Quick pockets, Heave Ho!

C 4
I 6
A 7
L 5

My weapons of choice are any kind of explosives.

Kamikaze gives me the extra sequence needed to eliminate one foe before the combat even starts , and my other trait (bloody mess or Jinxed) is there just for the fun of it.
Tho i have to admit that having grenades explode in my backpack because of Jinxed is not fun, but i guess inflicting critical failures on your foes more than pays for that downside.

Quick pockets lets me grab more grenades from my backpack at a lowered cost, and heave ho! allows me to throw them farther.

The only thing that could stop me were enclave soldiers and brotherhood paladins, since their armors absorbed most of the explosion damage.

Knytt is one of the most atmospheric games i've ever played. Good to hear that it's getting a sequel/spin-off.

Btw, Alec, is it intentional that your sig reads "Would you LOOK at that?" and at the same time, the man in your avatar looks in the sig's direction?

My only request is this - please don't release the game until September.  I took some time off of work in order to pick up and start burning through Bioshock, and if Aquaria came out during my stint with that, I think my head would explode trying to decide between the two.  Seriously.  And I like my head.

I can give you mine for rent.  Sure, it has lower than average IQ, but i think you'll manage.

One game i think that went by largely unnoticed is Nox.

Westwood released this fun arcadey-rpg in 2000,and it somehow just didn't get much publicity.





sadly Westwood Online is no longer operational, so the thriving multiplayer community has to resort to using hamachi in order to play.
